The old mine cut - known as old miners - was developed in the 18th Century, cut by hand, they feature a high table and large open culet. The relatively large triangular facets allow for bright and colourful flashes when they catch the light. Size 8.25. Weighs approximately 3.33grams. Acid tested with 10k,14k & 18k gold. Passes 10k gold with flying colors & barely fades at 14k. Gold Karat is approximate, but is guaranteed to AT LEAST 10k, but closer to 14k Gold! Snakes featured heavily in the myths of ancient Greece and Rome. They were reviled for their ability to shed their skin, meaning that they were seen as a symbol of regeneration and rebirth.
